Leave it to a game that once figured out how to combine 11 herbs and spices of KFC with the 11 torments of hell itself to come up with another crazy collaboration. Diablo IV is taking Halloween to another level with its new, erm, Vases of Hatred promotion.
So the idea here is that you can send a free “real toxic bouquet” to a friend or enemy while earning an in-game mount bundle at the same time, provided that supplies last and your target lives in select portions of NYC or LA.
According to the promotion, “The bouquet consists of a collection of carnivorous flowers and trypophobia-inducing buds, with stems and leaves singed by the fires of hell. The arrangement is a haunting mixture of charred beauty and latent danger, a fitting tribute to the darker realms of the Diablo universe.” Yes, this is completely normal and sane. Do not think otherwise.
Meanwhile in the game itself, Diablo IV is getting ready to hold its Macabre Celebration from October 29th through November 5th. There are four freebies you can get by logging on each day from the 29th through the 1st, and players can encounter the Butcher in dungeons for a quick game of Meet or Treat.
