World of Warcraft buffs anniversary token quests, toughens up timewalking dungeons

There’s a hodge-podge of post-11.0.5 hotfixes and tweaks that World of Warcraft is sliding into its weekly reset today, starting with a welcome buff to anniversary quests that pay out in the much-desired bronze celebration tokens.

“We are increasing the amount of Bronze Celebration Tokens that players can earn from Season 1 weekly activities with weekly resets [Tuesday],” WoW’s devs wrote. “We hope that this increase will help some players get more tokens naturally by engaging with their regular content and the 20th activities that interest them the most.”

However, this change comes alongside an adjustment to timewalking dungeons to make them more difficult now that everyone and their sibling is spamming them: “Adjusted all dungeon enemy health and damage to better scale with player power. Our intention with these dungeons is for their difficulty to fall between the difficulty of a Normal and a Heroic dungeon at level 80.”

The studio also slid in several more class changes, perhaps in response to the poorly received balance adjustments that came with Patch 11.0.5.
