Readers might recall that Marvel Rivals teased the next character coming to the shooter’s roster at the very end of its Psylocke trailer, but now we can say for certain that Moon Knight will be arriving to the game when it makes its full launch on Friday, December 6th.
“Mercenary Marc Spector was given a second chance at life when he became the avatar of the Egyptian moon god, Khonshu. As Moon Knight, he doles out righteous vengeance, locked in a never-ending battle with both the criminals on the streets and the voices in his head. In Marvel Rivals, Moon Knight wields supernatural powers bestowed by Khonshu to vanquish his foes.”
The trailer in question is only about 45 seconds, but it does provide a look at the duelist character in action as he does his signature cape glide and wields some expected weapons, though there are some surprises to his kit such as the ability to open a portal overhead to rain down Khonshu’s hands on foes.
