When a game has a bunch of different server types and no real easy way for players to shuffle around as they need to, things are understandably going to be affected. It’s a problem that survivalbox Myth of Empires is facing, so Angela Game is opening up some server transfer features in a couple of specific cases to improve player population and availability of items in trading posts.
Cross-server transfers are now available to let classic era and lotus era characters move over to new era servers, provided those characters weren’t created before January 3rd and players don’t already have a new era character. Most everything will carry over when a transfer request is completed except for guilds, mounts, and warriors, and players will only be able to transfer one character per account.
In other MOE news, the game is continuing to provide peeks at content arriving in its Persia DLC, but this time it’s not oddball tech; it’s weapons. The DLC will add 11 new ways for players to inflict grievous in-game injuries upon one another and two shield types to hopefully stop said injuries. Angela Game is still not offering a release date for this DLC, and we are now officially past its originally projected launch window, so fans are going to have to sit and wait and dream of new maces, aces, and bows.
