SWTOR’s Dark vs. Light store packs are better than the event ones

Don’t have the patience or skill to get one of the Dark vs. Light packs from Star Wars: The Old Republic? Uncle BioWare is there to help you out, especially if you’re burdened with too much money. The studio has started selling these packs through the cartel market for 250 coins each.

The studio did note that these packs aren’t entirely identical to the ones that you can earn through the event — the store packs are actually better than the event ones. How so? For starters, the items in the store packs are bind-on-equip, whereas the event ones are bind-on-pickup.

It also appears that players will get more out of the store packs, as each one includes “one pack item, one grand chance cube, one companion gift, and Jawa Junk.” If one of our readers doesn’t start a hit band named Jawa Junk within the week, we at Massively OP will be very disappointed.
