Warframe gets ‘surreal’ with this week’s Sacrifice update

Get ready for a wonderfully weird adventure in Warframe this week, as the game brings in a new story and warframe with The Sacrifice. The update picks right up where the previous narrative left off and requires players to complete several other quests as prerequisites before tackling this new one.

“In the wake of a cliff-hanging story sequence revealed last December, the ensemble of familiar characters and story structure turns toward the surreal,” Digital Extremes said. “A foreboding vision will lead you, the Tenno, on a hunt for a savage new warframe.”

So what’s this new warframe that you’ll be chasing? The Umbra is an expert with the sword who might have a tad bit of a rage issue. The patch also begins to revamp the user interface with more customizations and a better design.

While the update is out this week for PC, console players are going to have to wait until later this summer to experience it.
