Play Trove to earn a RIFT budgie mount

Giant flightless birds make great commute buddies, not to mention that they take the simplest biofuel available. But if you want to get your own big budgie mount in RIFT to live that high feathered lifestyle, you’re going to have to work for it!

Trion Worlds is currently running a promotion where the studio is giving RIFT players a free budgie mount — but the catch is that you have to play at least one character in Trove up to level 20. Players who already have a level 20 Trove character will automatically have the budgie sent to their RIFT accounts.

Gottphoenix I just wish Rift would make all mounts account wide. I have a spectre horse (the one from the rift event, not the dungeon) that i would love to use, but its on a retired character I don’t play. :(

Fortunately Trove is a tiny download. :)

A Dad Supreme Wow, I knew life was tough in the landscaping biz, but Raising Hope sure got darker after I stopped watching.

Sorenthaz Sargonnax Gottphoenix thus the common moniker:  “Oh look, another sparklepony”

Thanks to Borderlands2, we now name them “Butt Stallions” as well.

Greaterdivinity Sorenthaz Uh… I can’t remember honestly.  Maybe a week or so if the time I spent solely on leveling a single class was condensed into 2-4 hour daily segments.

‘course it also varies from class to class since some are better at surviving stuff (for easier zerging) or clearing stuff quickly (for faster solo exp).

Sorenthaz Thanks for the info. How long would you estimate it would take? I mean, I totally want the budgie, but if we’re looking at like 30+ hours of play, then I’ll just skip it : /

Greaterdivinity  At least as of three-ish months ago, here’s how you level up quickly:

1. Just go to the appropriate level worlds to start.  You level up pretty damn fast until level 10.

2. Hop into Uber worlds and bandwagon with the zerg clump that inevitably forms (if it hasn’t already been running around by the point that you join the world).  Best exp is Uber 5 of course, but you’ll do nothing but serve as a leech for the most part and you’ll easily die in Uber 5s.

3. Grind grind grind.  After level 15 it gets stupidly slow to a point of being extremely tedious.  And the reward for hitting level 20 is… loot grinding, yay!

If you want I could invite you to my “Club” since I already have the Uber 1-5 portals made, and it would be an easy place to access the different crafting benches and stuff (minus any that were added in the past few months).

Sargonnax Gottphoenix  Eh.  There are still hundreds of mounts to obtain in-game.  Most of the $25 mounts in WoW are stupidly flashy/show-offy and don’t really fit in with any lore/theme save for a few.

EO_Lonegun DPandaren  Hence why it was replaced by Hearthstone, lol.

And you can now get the TCG stuff off of the Black Market AH or w/e in Pandaria, last I checked.  ‘course it’s highly priced and requires some luck with timing and bidding.

Golden_Girl  If by cash incentive you mean you give them your cash so that they can give you a punch in the face, yes.  :p
(Oh god now I’m talking like you what is wrong with me.)
