Upcoming Wuxia MMO Moonlight Blade is going into open beta on July 1st. Yes, I know, why are we writing about this because there’s no guarantee that it’s even coming to the West, right? Well, here’s why: Steparu has a brief guide for getting into the beta, which isn’t IP-blocked and which is yours to experience if you don’t mind the fact that the UI, the quests, and everything else will be in Chinese.

If you want to get a good look at Moonlight Blade’s gameplay before you sign up for the beta, click past the cut!

Gas Chamber Gerhan To my understanding,  Blade and Soul doesn’t have half the content this game has.

Don’t think anyone of you played this game

Level 60 right now

1 cash shop is normal really not that pay to win you earn cash shop money playing the game.
2 is not a hack and slash or does it look like dynasty warriors
3 there are alot of side quests and things to discover basicly like GTA

Just play the game before you judge it.

Just think of all the stuff Jackie Chan has used as a weapon… everything from a shopping cart, ladder to a fridge!  :-)

sdyaris Damonvile Ironwu 90% of fires end up having the fire department at the scene. We should definitely get rid of fire fighters.

Not shockingly for an asian game, it looks like a graphical copy of AoW (which isn’t really impressive at all) and gameplay wise looks very similar.  And since it’s asian, I can assume it has some horrible cash shop model rendering whatever merits the game happens to have (which probably aren’t many past it being “wuxia” themed) moot.  Unless of course you’re a frothing fanboy that plays whatever comes out with a specific genre label in the hopes that one of the cookie cutter copies might be slightly better then the last.  Blade and soul is the only thing I’ve seen in that genre that looks remotely passable, and it’s still a little ways away.

Telos_ chibiflix that’s because wuxia is literally the asian version of superhero capeshit. Its not suppose to be realistic in any way, shape or form.
