Back in November, Worlds Adrift ran its first alpha playtest with just 153 participants, and today’s it’s released a video-infographic summarizing the more interesting player stats during the event: 67 islands explored, 18,106 pieces of wood harvested, 7073 scraps of metal salvaged, 7917 eggs collected, 117 ships built, 607 flares fired, 1570 crossbow bolts fired, 1075 cannonballs unleashed, 84 explosives detonated, and a whopping 516 player characters dead, dead, dead. Or maybe it was the same character who died 516 times. Technically, we don’t know!
Now the devs plan to open the game up to more players willing to die for the sake of flying boats. You can sign up for the alpha on the official site (it’s neat! It asks you to pick your favorite games from small groupings) and check out the new trailer — which has gameplay in addition to all the fun stats — below.
