As an MMO player, you presumably already own a computer. You’re also reading this post on some sort of electronic device! But you might be thinking to yourself, “Could I have more computer somehow?” On that, Massively OP has you covered with today’s gift ideas for yourself, your gaming significant other and/or any extant children, or anyone you happen to see walking down the street muttering about his completely inadequate gaming rig.

P.S.: I am not our hardware expert, so I had lots of help finding the good stuff for this one!

Gigabyte NVidia GTX 1070 8GB

If you’re looking for a video card to bring you up to the current generation of NVidia processors and DDR5 RAM, the 1070 offers a nice mix of price and performance. Gigabyte’s implementation is around $400, so you can get caught up without paying the usual $250 premium for the 1080. And it can still put out flawless framerates at 4k Ultra HD in modern games.

Asus NVidia GTX 970 4GB

If you’re thinking that the 1070 sounds nice, but you don’t really need ALL THE PIXELS, the GTX 970 might be the better deal for you. With 4GB of DDR4 memory, it can keep up with nearly any MMO, especially if you play in 1080p resolution anyway. And at $140 less than the 1070 GTX, it’s a more reasonably sized upgrade for the gamer who would rather spend that difference on lockboxes. Ahem.

Razer Deathstalker Keyboard

If you like a low-profile keyboard with chiclet keys and you want to be able to mash 10 keys all at once while you’re facerolling, the Razer Deathstalker might be the keyboard for you. (If you like 1980s “sword and sorcery” cheese, then you’re probably thinking of a different Deathstalker.) Comes in upgradable versions with LED backlight (ooo!) and customizable backlight color (aaah!) and you can make it wireless if your hatred of wires is truly unquenchable (wires!)

Corsair VOID Wireless Gaming Headset

This is the gaming headset my husband uses, and he says it’s awesome. The wireless USB version lasts all day on a single charge, gets clear digital reception up to 10 meters away (even through walls and floors), and has customizable color ear glowies, which I think you’ll agree is the important part. The microphone folds up out of the way when not in use, and the hinges between the headband and earphones are entirely metal, so they might survive our children dropping them repeatedly.

Razer Naga Chroma MMO Mouse

Lastly, you’ll need somewhere to rest your non-keyboard hand while you’re playing your favorite MMO. This is the current version of the Naga MMO mouse, with programmable side buttons (also available for lefties!), selectable LED color, and super-high 16000dpi resolution. Also available in a MOBA version, for players who never need to count higher than 7. BOOM.
