The next big space strategy game might be able to fit in the palm of your hand. Or two hands, if you have a tablet. Developer Parallel Space has been working on a new title called Hades’ Star, and it’s ready to be tested by the public this month.
Hades’ Star is a top-down strategy MMO in which players will roam the galaxy looking for opportunities to colonize, mine, trade, and fight. The team said that it wanted to make a game with involving choices that wasn’t too complex, so don’t expect this one to tax your math skills.
“We have reached a point in development where we can really benefit from all kinds of player feedback,” the studio said. “Hades’ Star is a persistent online game, and we want to test both our gameplay systems and our technology with actual players.”
An alpha test for both iOS and Android devices is coming at some point this month, so if you’re interested, you can sign up for it on the site. The title is scheduled to release later in 2017.
