Hold on to any complaints that you might have about Conan Exiles right now, because they may not be valid in a few days’ time. Funcom gave a sneak peek of this week’s patch today, telling players that it’s the largest that the team has assembled for the survival sandbox to date.

Among the many changes and additions on tap are improvements to server performance, less jittery NPCs, arrows that fly with a purpose, a balance pass on bows, rhinos that won’t try to walk through you, feat rebalancing, a nerf to emu XP (noo!), better-looking female heads, uniforms for the Dogs of the Desert, and a kibosh on the ability to punch rocks into bits (“This privilege is reserved only for Conan himself.”).

The team also announced a couple of changes to how land claiming will work with this update: “Small placeables will no longer claim land, and NPC camps now have their own land claim to prevent people from building so close to them that they stop spawning NPCs.”
