Mash-ups are a common creative exercise, especially in entertainment where authors and makers slap two different elements together to see if the result feels fresh… or funky. It’s your call whether Atom Fishing 2 is a delightful blend or an offputting mess, but it certainly isn’t the type of MMO that we normally see.
In a nutshell, Atom Fishing 2 is a multiplayer free-to-play angling simulator that just so happens to take place in a post-apocalyptic world. Yes, there are nuclear ponds, mutated fish, and a world falling apart and in dire need of repair. But is that going to stop you from slacking off with your rod and reel? Heck no, it’s not.
There’s more than simply standing in place and throwing out your line over and over again. Players can complete quests, use fish for crafting, and walk around this wasteland. Yeah, it’s totally zonkers, but at least it’s a memorable sort of zonkers!
