Atom Fishing 2 delivers extreme post-apocalyptic angling

Mash-ups are a common creative exercise, especially in entertainment where authors and makers slap two different elements together to see if the result feels fresh… or funky. It’s your call whether Atom Fishing 2 is a delightful blend or an offputting mess, but it certainly isn’t the type of MMO that we normally see.

In a nutshell, Atom Fishing 2 is a multiplayer free-to-play angling simulator that just so happens to take place in a post-apocalyptic world. Yes, there are nuclear ponds, mutated fish, and a world falling apart and in dire need of repair. But is that going to stop you from slacking off with your rod and reel? Heck no, it’s not.

There’s more than simply standing in place and throwing out your line over and over again. Players can complete quests, use fish for crafting, and walk around this wasteland. Yeah, it’s totally zonkers, but at least it’s a memorable sort of zonkers!

I’ve spent some time with this game. Most of it has been translated to english. It’s a fun fishing game, just needs some more love & content.

I won’t say I didn’t think that very thing when I realized it was a game from Russia.

Talk about the Pot Calling The Kettle Black.

Just like Microsoft, Google, Apple & Every other corporation to come out of America. America is king of data theft / collection.

It’s a Russian game and from what people in the reviews write is still mostly in Russian when playing. They say the English selection has been translated enough to figure out what you’re doing but is still mostly Russian.
