Revelation Online encourages you to strip… your gear of enhancements

Leave your clothing on.
It is possible that Revelation Online could have used a thesaurus for its latest feature, as “stripping your gear” produces a mental image that is wholly unrelated to what said feature actually involves. See, it’s about stripping enhancements from your gear, not about…

Oh, you’re already on the mailbox. No. Put your boots back on. Can we… can we just talk about this feature? While wearing clothing? Yes, that’s much better, thank you.

See, in a game with multiple item enhancements, you’re often tempted to hold on to everything in the hopes of just upgrading one thing, right? So now you can strip your old gear of experience, Dragonspikes, and Tier Beads all at once. Then you can apply those to new pieces of equipment, ensuring that you still have a reason to upgrade and a reason to not hoard your upgrades.

Although we suppose you can still take off all of your gear if you want to. That’s just not the feature under discussion.

Wait. This game has a “Plus Enhancement” system and people were shocked that it was pay to win?

Wasn’t even just that, it was the fact you could pay money to bypass the time and entry limits which were the ONLY was to gain exp in the game. The game had hard caps on the XP you could gain every day, and you could literally pay money to go past it. Meaning if you paid money you could gain more levels, loot drops, and overall power over non paying players; and seeing as it was a very PvP heavy game that just completely destroyed the game and made it p2w as hell.

Ah, I see. Personally, whenever I see Asian Aesthetics a Cash Shop and a Plus Enhancement system I pretty much assume it’s going to be P2W.

+Jennifer Yaner – You don’t even know what your talking about and I bet you don’t even understand the game to have a better knowledge and fact.

First of all you don’t need to pay money to bypass time or entry for you to gain XP in the game. There is different ways to gain XP in the game without you spending money.

And second those P2W caps your mentioning is completely false.

“The game had hard caps on the XP you could gain every day”
Truth: There is absolutely no caps on the XP you gain everyday. If you want to kill more monsters for more loot and XP you can craft an item that lets you kill more if you like.

As a player who played at least several months in the game, and I can tell you.

The only P2W thing in the game is PVP, overall nothing else. You can enjoy this game without spending a single Dime!

Whoever your comment subjects false information, you should have knowledge before saying some shit. Goodbye.

Wish I had a time played to show you for all the time I sunk into that game the first month it released before I charge-backed on that p2w disappointment. I played plenty enough to make a well educated stance on it. Your crazily defensive and aggressive comments about the game, what are you, one of the last dying hardcore fanboys? Ease up killer.

I don’t recall ever dancing atop a mailbox…unless perhaps as a gnome banker…after accidentally leaving pvp flag on and…being mind-controlled into compliance by a vile forsaken shadow priest…at five in the morning on new year’s eve… in booty bay… once.

May I go, your honour?

I’m sure the 10 people who still play this will enjoy this new feature. :p
