Some of us couldn’t even attend. We were in two different instances. Not a good time. Not everyone got see Shooter or participate in the party.

Sorry, there were 150ish people in the shooter instance but yah, a fair amount of overflow. Main reason for the event was so people could hear his new album before it was live which everyone could still do.

Quoting DarkStarr from forum: “PRIZE UPDATE: To receive a prize you need to find the real shooter at the party, whisper him the secret phrase, have a subsequent brief chat, and then he will initiate a trade with you if he is satisfied with the discussion.” Those of us who were left out of the first instance missed out on prizes. Some of us took day off to attend and even left work early, showing up 1/2 hour in advance. There was also a patch we had to download before we could even get into the game, causing a delay. I am fine, not upset at all. Maybe next time, game can be better prepared.

on the bright side can we stop with “this game is dead” talks :-)

Shooter wanted to only give out 25 prizes to keep them rare.Sorry, but it was Shooter’s big day and we let him make the rules. Sorry you missed out as many did.

I am no longer disappointed that I did not get one of the rare prizes Maybe, he thinks the “prize” will get very valuable some day so it can resold for a lot of real money. I don’t want a prize anymore. I am not and never was a Shooter Jennings fan anyway. This just turns me off more about this game. Thank you for replying to all of my comments.

Not sure why that turns you off from the game. Hard to please everyone. The point of the party was to hear music and you got that. You seem to be more obsessed with the prize than most. Your complaints make it difficult for the devs to hear valid complaints to make the game actually better.

Anyways devs will be giving prizes to the 185 people who complete the quest prior to the party. Meaning you had to go to all 5 cities and talk to the shooter jenning fans to get the password.

I have been getting more and more disenchanted with this game. I should have stated that last night’s incident just added to my disappointment. I have been playing this game for 2-1/2 years now and sunk more money into this game than my husband and children have altogether in their 15 years of gaming. Perhaps, I just need to broaden my gaming horizon. I don’t know why pointing out several of us were were unable to attend the “real” event is not a valid consideration for improving the game. I hope future events will be better planned to accommodate everyone who wants to support SOTA.

If you read over your comments you seem more upset about the prize than not being able to attend. I think if you clarified that, it would have made much more sense.

Thus what you have clarified I think is a valid statement. I see how that could be upsetting.

Several of us attempted teleporting to our friends in instance #1, but we crashed. Eventually, as the attendance in instance #1 started to dwindle, some of us were able to party with friends in instance #1 and enter. However, I was no longer in the partying mood and got out of there. It would be nice to be able to log into a game to attend/support an event and be there, just like that. Yes, maybe some day it will be possible for an occasion of this magnitude (150+ people) in SOTA.

Thank you for the update. I did read it in the forum. I wonder why the thread in the forum entitled “shooter jennings! great event! too bad though, poorly ran!” got deleted. Bad publicity I guess. I will be keeping my prizes with my other items in hopes of selling them secondhand in hopes of making some real money if they will be worth anything.
