In celebration of its 10-year anniversary, PWI (aka Perfect World International) is receiving a new expansion, Redemption, that brings new zones, the new dungeon bestiary feature, a sixth boundary tier, and updated visuals to Perfect World Entertainment’s venerable MMO. In addition to the new content, such as the Royal Sky Boundary, which provides further progression opportunities for max-level players, and the dungeon bestiary, which “provides players with information and tactics to tackle PWI’s many boss encounters,” the expansion also implements across-the-board improvements to the game’s lighting and water effects.
Moreover, for the duration of the game’s 10th-anniversary celebration, players will be able to take part in a number of special events and contests to earn in-game prizes. Every day, players can go to the anniversary microsite to receive a code that they can redeem for one of a selection of prizes, chosen at random. Players can also enter a raffle for a chance to win the new Mystic Maneater mount. And last, but not least, if players complete each of the 10 mini-community events taking place in-game for the remainder of the month, they’ll be rewarded with a bonus 100 Event Gold.
