Shoot, shoot, shoot, bullet, bullet, gun! Ashe – and B.O.B. – are live in Overwatch

Reckon that's a bit pointless.

As I type this article, my husband’s in Overwatch playing Ashe. In fact, he’s in an arcade mode where literally everyone is playing Ashe, which is pretty funny from my vantage anyway – it’s nothing but Ashes and B.O.B.s, her ultimate and robot butler. She looks gorgeous, but his whole takeaway so far is that she has a tricky rotation and that Blizzard doesn’t know how dynamite works, so there’s that.

Anyway, yes: Ashe, as voiced by the inimitable Jennifer Hale, is live in Overwatch this week. In case you somehow missed all her BlizzCon hoopla, here’s her deal.

“The 29th hero to join the Overwatch roster, Ashe — also known as Elizabeth Caledonia Ashe — is a gunslinger hailing from the American Southwest. Armed with the Viper rifle, Ashe is a versatile damage hero, able to fire rapidly from the hip or line up a high-damage shot through her sights. She blasts enemies by throwing dynamite, and her coach gun packs a major punch, knocking foes or Ashe back for added mobility. And Ashe is not alone, calling her omnic ally Bob to join the fray when the need arises.”

Last night’s patch also saw hero balance updates for Mercy, Reaper, Roadhog, and Symmetra. But Reddit is mostly just talking about B.O.B., which to be honest totally checks out.
