The number of posts and threads about Anthem‘s loot issues are too numerous to count without a calculator. Now, we can add a misdirect to the mix of loot issues. Redditors believed that there were going to be armor sets in the Elysian Stronghold caches because of a statement by Producer Ben Irving during a livestream. However, after looting the caches, players determined that there are in fact no armor in those caches. This upheaval prompted Irving to apologize on Twitter:
My bad here, i read the question as "when can we earn vanity in Anthem" as opposed to "when can we earn armor" – There are no armor packs in the Elysian Caches but there are a lot of very cool Vinyls, Arrival Animations, Victory Poses and Emotes. More details coming. https://t.co/xx2tRflS7z

According to the players on Reddit and Twitter, BioWare should be aware that the community wants more armor sets and should assume that the community expected that from the Elysian Stronghold. Community Lead Andrew Johnson replied to one of those Twitter responses with something the community definitely did not want to hear.
Sorry you’re disappointed, man. We are aware the community wants to see more armor sets.
It’s not something anyone is trying to hold back. Some things just take more time.

Although BioWare is rolling out new content this month, the mark was missed when it comes to providing the players what they are looking for. Perhaps there is still time to course-correct before the summer hits and players find other games to jump to.
