The Daily Grind: What MMO has the absolute worst official site?

Not scary any more.

Every so often I’m reminded of how hopelessly bad the Final Fantasy XI site actually is. I don’t entirely blame the designers; the site was designed to be viewed and used even by people using the unbelievably janky browser options available on the consoles available at the time, and so it made sense from a design perspective in 2003 or so. It is now 2019, though, and I can only assume that if they change the website Hiromichi Tanaka will be unsealed and return as producer and director of Final Fantasy XIV or something. That’d explain the reluctance to actually update the dang thing.

Of course, I may be the last person on the face of the planet who actually cares about this. Heck, it still bugs me that Allods Online has a website that is both intensely modern and terrible with its screenshots. (I need these screenshots to make your game look decent, guys!) So what about you, readers? In your time moving between official websites of MMOs, which one is the absolute worst of the batch?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
