Those of us who were still looking forward to Peria Chronicles got used to being mocked. We grew accustomed to being told that we were waiting for something that had evaporated in development, that even if it did come out it was still years away from even the announcement of a western release. But now the game’s official Facebook page has been updated for the first time in two years with the promise of announcements soon, so who looks ridiculous now?
It’s us. It’s still those of us staring at this game with puppy-dog eyes. But at least we look mildly less ridiculous.
Of course, as often happens this is less news in and of itself and more the promise of news in the near future. But the fact that the game’s official accounts have gone silent for two years but are active again alone should give the hopeful onlookers a reason to remain hopeful. We’ll see what happens in the near future, won’t we?
