Star Trek Online: Age of Discovery unveils a May 14 PC release date

The steady stream of details for Star Trek Online’s latest content update has reached its logical conclusion: a release date. PC players can fly in to the newest content this coming Tuesday, May 14th, and in the process meet up with some new Hollywood actors along the way.

Star Trek Online builds on its star power by adding actors from Star Trek: Discovery to this round of story content; Jason Isaacs will be reprising his role as Captain Gabriel Lorca, and Rekha Sharma will be starring as the in-game version of Commander Ellen Landry. Fans of the current series will recognize those actor and character names well, but for those of us without CBS All Access, Isaacs is best known as Lucius Malfoy from the Harry Potter franchise, while fans may recognize Sharma from her role on Battlestar Galactica as Tory Foster.

In terms of story content, information is pretty much the same in the press release as it was in a PC Gamer piece that we previously reported on. There’s also the T6 starship leveling feature to look forward to and a new reputation track to follow. As for console players, it’s the usual “later date” release window for you. Sorry.
