I absolutely hate buyer’s regret. If I could go back and slap myself when I was about to press the “buy now” button on certain purchases, I absolutely would. For example, the other day I picked up a half-price copy of Stormblood about 24 hours before I came to the ultimate realization that I can’t stick with FFXIV for any length of time. That was wasted money.
I’m sure we all have stories like that, when we buy something for or in an MMO and then end up regretting the decision. Perhaps it’s an outfit that ends up being a complete stinker when you actually put it on your person, or some sort of vanity mount that you thought you had to have yet hardly end up using. Or even worse, when you buy something only to get the same thing or an equivalent for absolutely free soon thereafter!
