Niantic is keeping the ball rolling on its two big properties this summer. While Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is barely a Year One student at this point, a Brilliant Event will kick this week on off on July 3rd with all sorts of special foundables popping up in the world around you. Expect unicorns, extra galleons, and a happy Hagrid to show up.
Plans are also in the works for a Wizards Unite Labor Day fan fest in Indianapolis, Indiana. Enlightened wizards can apparate in White River State Park on August 31st and September 1st to play alongside hundreds (or perhaps thousands) of other gamers.
And over in Pokemon Go’s territory (which is, let’s face it, the same territory as all of Niantic’s games), a new summer Community Day is being planned for July 21st with a chance to catch a rare Mudkip:
