There are many of us here aboard the MassivelyOP Yacht that have strong opinions about gender-locked classes, and very clearly a lot of our readers do as well. If you’ve been annoyed that TERA’s console version has been locking the energetic Brawler tank behind female avatars, then the Fists of Velika update is the kind of thing you’ve been waiting on, as the Brawler class can now be played by Human male characters.[AL:TERA]
If you’ve been playing TERA on PC or have otherwise been fine with female Brawlers on console, you know the deal; the Brawler is a powerhouse PvE tank character that links together punches and counters to waylay opponents, build rage, and burn that rage on monstrous attacks. The class features a ferociously offensive playstyle and a number of skills that let you gather foes into nice, neat, easy-to-kill bundles.
The Fists of Velika update also brings fishing to TERA’s console community, letting level 22 characters enjoy a little waterside down time along with gold, achievements, and rewards to reel in. Console players can also ring in the summer season with the continuation of the Summer Festival and a number of in-game events like increased item rewards and a male Brawler leveling event. All of the details can be found at TERA’s website.
