It would seem the folks at Pearl Abyss simply told some of the community managers and developers for Black Desert Mobile to sit on a couch and just wing it. That sounds like a recipe for disaster, but the recent video marking the soft launch of the game is a pretty entertaining time.
While the vast majority of this video is jump cuts and goofy developers, it also takes a moment to answer some questions. The question of when Black Desert Mobile will be soft-launching on iOS is brought up, but isn’t given any hard answer beyond that the team is working on getting the game released for the platform. It also confirms that the game can be played on a Galaxy S5 device or higher. Finally, there will be three servers (America, Europe, and Asia), each of which can be connected to by anyone from anywhere, though players will want to choose the one that provides the best ping.
