Camelot Unchained recounts October’s development updates in its monthly newsletter

Camelot Unchained has had a busy month of work as one can gather from the game’s monthly Unveiled newsletter, which takes a look back at efforts put towards the developing MMO as well as shows off a couple of new things.

As far as new is concerned, most of that is art-related, including a look at some boot and hat renders as well as some more playing around with the game’s new material making tool. It otherwise looks back at work on support classes and navmesh, discusses where ideas come from, and announces a playtest for backers on Saturday, November 2nd at 12:00 p.m. EDT for backers up to Beta 2.

This is all bookended, of course, by Thursday’s news that Camelot Unchained’s launch will be delayed into next year, and even then it won’t be fully feature complete, a fact that is alluded to at the close of the newsletter:

“Looking forward to next month’s news, progress, and articles! Stay awesome, and seriously… thanks for your patience, folks. It’s been a long road, and we thank you for your support.”
