It’s been three years since Darkfall: Rise of Agon went live and five years since the project first saw life as DFO Returns, so the folks at Big Picture Games are feeling pretty thankful for seeing the game get the support it has been getting.

“This news post is but a simple and heartfelt thank you from myself and the whole team at Big Picture Games as we look back on how far we’ve come and to the future of Rise of Agon. We hope that everyone continues to enjoy the game and stay connected with us as we develop this game into everything we’ve all wanted!”

The post itself is vague on just what the future for Rise of Agon holds, but it does mention that the devs are taking on new team members and ramping up to “take [the game] to new heights,” along with continued work on the game’s plans for the Embers of War expansion as well as further bug fixing and additional features.
