One of the nice things about having a limited action bar is that you can put together some fun builds given time and futzing around with upgrade options. Such is the illustration of Torchlight III’s most recent State of the Game post, which features several character builds as shared by Echtra Games dev Michael “Mayhem” May.
[AL:TL3]There’s builds for each of the game’s four classes, complete with a cute little pet name and an individual news post on the game’s official site that breaks down each build’s chosen abilities and how they work together. One such build even claims to “break the game in the best way,” and the devs of Torchlight III appear eager to lean into this goal with an invitation for players to share their “most unique, over-powered, and interesting builds” on various social media.
As for a news post of substance, the post confirms that work on the next big update is ongoing and that information will be shared later in the week. Until then, perhaps you can look through the build possibilities and get some inspiration.
