If you’re among those Conan Exiles players living in the Isle of Siptah, you’re going to want to brace yourself for a number of changes that are on the way. A producer’s letter has outlined a variety of updates and adjustments that are in the works for the early portion of 2021.

First off, the Isle will be getting NPC camps, each with a unique style based on three different factions. These camps are meant to not only bring a better sense of life to the area but will also feature NPCs that can be captured as thralls.

The gameplay loop surrounding vaults, storms, and surges is going to be refined to make it feel less cumbersome: Vaults are being rebalanced to become level 60 dungeons with new rewards as well as eldarium, players can now build within the area of the storm’s effect without drawing monster ire while still hunting said monsters for new and unique rewards in addition to essences, and completing a surge will now reward players with a Fragment of Power that can be used inside a chamber in the Tower of Siptah for new and great rewards.

The landmass of the Isle of Siptah is being increased, adding three new biomes and overall making the island over 90% than the Exiled Lands. There will soon be a new religion in the Isle with unique weapons, new items and altars, and a new avatar that is “sure to give those with a faint heart or a certain phobia nightmares.” The purge mechanic from the Exiled Lands will be making its way to the Isle as well.

Finally, the devs have also confirmed that they are working on a way to let players transfer their characters from the Exiled Lands to the Isle.
