If you’re getting a sense of deja vu from Champions Online, know that it’s not just you; the Nighthawk event is back once again, as it was a few times before. Bad news for those who have tried to clear this former hero’s name, good news for those who haven’t yet.
As before, players are being asked to head to the crime scenes of mercenaries hired by Nighthawk, “subdue” them (with generous amounts of superheroic power), and find clues. Getting to the bottom of the matter will involve a fight with Nighthawk himself, which is said to be a challenging proposition for solo players, while the story will culminate in a five-player boss fight involving some manner of massive gunship. There will be two new rewards for this event, while other goodies can be found in the online store.
The event is running between now and Thursday, December 2nd, so fans may want to get on the case, whether it’s for another time around or for the first time ever.
