The developers of Elite: Dangerous would like to meet members of the game’s community for “good food, drinks and an Arthur Tolmie special Pub Quiz.” Members of Frontier Developments’ team will be part of an in-person meet-up event in Cambridge, UK, on Friday, December 10th.

Tickets for the event went on sale yesterday, with all sale proceeds going to the Special Effect charity, though only 100 tickets are being offered “due to the nature of the world.” Those who are able to buy in will get to meet several well-known members of community management along with “more very special guests” from the FDev team. The event is noted as a casual meet-up with the community and will not be the stage for any special game announcements.

In other Elite news, the game is bringing back a sleek black paint for Black Friday, offering up the Midnight Black paint scheme for various ships for a limited time – namely until Friday, December 3rd.
