Moon pears: These are rocks. Obviously.
Moon weeds: Also rocks.
Moon logs: Actually, there are trees on the moon! They grow in the moon dirt to provide sweet, sweet moon wood for all of the moon men. The primary problem with these moon trees is that the fruit they provide are just moon pears, which are just rocks, as already noted. This makes it impossible for them to reproduce through usual seed methods. It’s thus a mystery how there are so many moon trees in the first place, although most theories involve moon fairies. Whatever the reason, moon logs are something to behold. You can use them to build a house.
Moon men: They’re actually just called “moon men” because of sexist policies from the 50s. Their own sexist policies. That’s the actual name of their species. What Are You Playing.
Bonus question: Is there a movie, TV show, or album you love that predates your birth?
Andrew Ross (@dengarsw): Pokemon Go and Animal Crossing getting some action, no doubt, though enjoy the new expansion for Final Fantasy XIV for me, ya’ll!
Bonus: Star Wars, especially The Empire Strikes Back, no doubt. If we’re sticking to things without a series, Dr. Strangelove.
Andy McAdams: After months of being incredibly sure that I was not going to be playing Endwalker, I purchased Endwalker at the eleventh hour before launch. So probably a lot of that this weekend as I didn’t completely finish Shadowbringers so there’s some catching up to do.
Bonus Question: Alien for me. I love that entire series and Ripley was just such a bad-ass. I even wrote my undergrad thesis on Ripley
Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): It’s awards compilation weekend for me, so I won’t get much time to play, but I have Albion Online queued up for when I do.
Star Wars is the obvious pick for me!
Chris Neal (@wolfyseyes, blog): Endwalker. Provided my items that I ordered actually arrive some time in the next 24 hours. Failing that and any other technical SNAFUs, I’ll likely take a peek at the chain blades rework in Dauntless.
Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars stands out as a favorite that came out before my time; I played the stuffing out of that cassette when I was young. There was also a double-live Frank Zappa album that I played to the point of excessiveness. I am the Zombie Woof!
Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): Go away. Endwalking.
I love basically every Yes album out there, including the ones that existed before my parents knew one another, so that’s obviously high on my list.
Sam Kash (@thesamkash): I’ll be playing more New World this weekend. I’ve also been playing CrisTales which is actually rather dull. Animations are spectacular and the voice acting is good too. However their version of turn based combat is kind of boring and the story is just very blah. But I still want to smash through it to completion before moving on.
Bonus: I enjoy old Genesis and Phil Collins music.
