The Daily Grind: Do you take a lot of screenshots in your MMOs?

Yep, we're going here, too.

I spent a lot of time training to take good screenshots in Final Fantasy XIV specifically because I knew I would want that for this year’s media tour. This was, I think, a good thing; it meant that I had good stuff to show off. But it required a conscious effort on my part, because left to my own devices I have long had a habit of tending to just play the game and not really think about screenshots actively. And this is in a game that actually has a well-developed and useful screenshot tool!

I am, of course, still envious of people who seem to just have a natural eye for great screens in games, even ones that don’t have a dedicated photo mode and the like. It’s not something that I’m instinctively inclined to do. But what about you? Do you take a lot of screenshots in your MMOs? Do you tend to be good about catching good action shots or landscapes? Or do you tend to just play and forget about screenshots more often than not?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
