The Daily Grind: How good do you think you are in your MMO of choice?

Riding along in my hippomobile.

If there’s one thing that I’ve learned over the years in which I have played MMOs, it’s that people who are quick to point out their elite skills don’t actually have any. The actual players with amazing skill don’t feel the need for people to come and gawk; they just demonstrate their skill in actual play. Posturing usually means that you need to convince people of things that aren’t true.

Of course, I’m sure no one here would ever stoop to something as ridiculous and sad as trying to use a huge mount to block a quest NPC in hopes of getting everyone to look at you. Still, self-evaluation is interesting, and I’m always curious to see what other people think of themselves especially out of the actual game itself. So how good do you think you are in your MMO of choice? Do you think that you’re terrible? Middle of the road? Actually amazing and willing to show off receipts to hopefully impress people? Share!

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
