Andrew Ross (@dengarsw): Oof, so much game stuff going on. There are events in Splatoon 3, Pokemon Violet, and Pokemon Go this weekend, but I’m also on a huge Orna kick right now. Everything will get attention, but I don’t know how I’ll balance them all. Save me!
Worse ice cream flavor is tough, since I’ve had a lot of different ice creams and can usually find something I like. The worse two I ever had were made by a Chinese company. One was “cheese,” like cheddar cheese, but even the bites of “cheese” tasted like coconut. The dissonance between the texture, color, and taste was revolting. They also had an avocado ice cream we tried that tasted like honeydew and was awful for the exact same reason.And I say this having had multiple ice creams flavored with fish.
Andy McAdams: Probably EverQuest II – my play time this week was a little limited, so Lord of the Rings Online took a backseat so I could play with my husband. And Rimworld because Rimworld. That game is stupid, and frustrating and completely pointless and I love everything about it. I’m weird.
Ice cream isn’t my favorite dessert to start with; it’s not that I dislike ice cream or won’t eat it, it’s just not my favorite. That said, I once saw maple-bacon ice cream with chunks of real bacon and I might have thrown up in my mouth a little bit just reading the placard.
Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): The husband and I made it to 60 in Lord of the Rings Online on our alts – we’re into the light of Lothlorien, and we’re headed to Mirkwood this weekend, in and around some family stuff. He’s never seen Mirkwood at all except on my screen, and I’ve done it only a few times myself, so it ought to be a treat.
Man, I’m not sure there’s an ice cream I can’t find a way to eat. Maybe anything with coconut? Or bleh, almonds. I’m not big on the flavors with hard candy either. Candy yes. Candy that breaks my teeth, no.
Chris Neal (@wolfyseyes, blog): I think some time outside of Destiny 2 has refreshed me for that game, so I’ll likely do that this weekend. I also kind of feel the same way that Justin does about Star Wars: The Old Republic, so I think I might fire that sucker back up again.
I’m not really a fan of caramel ice cream. Caramel in ice cream is fine, but caramel as the primary flavor is not that good in my opinion.

Chocolate chip ice cream ain’t great. Hard chocolate in ice cream already isn’t great, because it gets too hard to bite through easily (chocolate bars in the freezer have thin chocolate), but chocolate chip ice cream combines that with basically just a melange of vanilla with a tiny bit of chocolate. It’s the worst of all worlds! Just get mint!
Sam Kash (@thesamkash): I’m really having fun playing Harry Potter: Magic Awakened. I’m trying to get more proficient in the duels. I keep waffling about what type of cards I want my deck to focus on. I basically run about 50% wins but that’s pretty terrible and I need to improve big time.
Bonus: I don’t guess I like chocolate ice cream much. Usually I just stick with vanilla, I’m a simple kind of guy.
