Admitting a rocky 2023 and projecting excitement for 2024, Wayfinder’s dev team put out a short video to wrap up the year by thanking the community and assuring everyone that work continues for this online RPG.
“Our vision of Wayfinder was to craft this game along side of you for the long haul,” said Airship Syndicate. “Yes, we hit some bumps at launch and there’s still plenty for us to do. But our team remains dedicated to making Wayfinder great as we work towards free-to-play in 2024.”
The studio said that it’s currently focusing on issues such as load times, performance, balance changes, and matchmaking. It did hint at content coming beyond that, though: “Rest assured, the world is about to get a whole lot larger — and faster.”
