This truly awful year is almost over, and that means it’s time for all of us to look at what happened over the past year in the past tense – and one of the things to look at is how many MMOs we got serious with. Anyone can log in a couple of times for anniversary events or even spend a week tooling around in a game world, but active play is something different. Some of us wound up clocking in a lot of time in a lot of MMOs, and some of us only played a couple.
Myself, I’m definitely in the latter camp; my MMO time this year was pretty firmly divided between World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy XIV, although I did definitely jump into a bunch of not-so-massively multiplayer games over the year. But what about you? Was every month a new MMO adventure? Were you searching for something you couldn’t find? Were you constant and faithful to your main game or main games and never jumped ship? Let us know!
