Chronicles of Elyria begins alpha testing… a feedback form

Despite vows to bring about an alpha for one of the Chronicles of Elyria titles by the end of 2023, it should shock precisely no one to hear that Soulbound Studio’s Jeromy Walsh is only now making noise about a roadmap for this year’s future failed promises development.

To help with this no doubt noble endeavor, Walsh is launching an alpha test. No, not of a game, silly. It’s an alpha of a feedback form for backers, to “help [him] to understand community sentiment and priorities.”

You can’t lob a slow underhand pitch like that to a disgruntled community without people swinging away in response, and that’s exactly what happened on Reddit. “My feedback: give me back my money,” one person said. “He can’t even produce a useful survey,” noted another.

“Alpha testing a form… at this point he’s just being a d**k,” one Redditor said. This was followed by: “He keeps referring to the company as if something other than just him. Technically true but in this case it just sounds delusional.”
