Don’t be deceived by the over-abundance of decimal points — Star Wars: The Old Republic’s Update 7.4.1 will be fully operational and chock-full of interesting developments for this intergalactic MMORPG.
When the patch arrives on Tuesday, SWTOR is introducing date night companion missions for those who wish to romance select characters more than they have in the past. Update 7.4.1 also includes the start of Galactic Seasons 6, character transfers to the Australian-based Shae Vizla server, a legacy unlock to access the GTN from your starship, and ancient armaments added to daily login rewards.
It’s also worth observing that the patch’s formal name is “Building a Foundation.” This could be a sly double-entendre that both references the foundation of these virtual dates and the new era that the game has entered now that it’s under Broadsword’s umbrella.
