Tencent’s Tarisland begins its next round of player testing… in China

The next phase of Tarisland’s testing has begun overseas as Tencent announced on Discord that the Chinese test is now underway.

As part of this playtest, Tencent decided to remove the tradable feature of Inscribed Stone Energy, as such trades were causing “imbalances within the game” thanks to pay-to-win situations. Other adjustments to the current build include making certain restrictions on craftable equipment, increasing crafting output, helping players attain their armor sets faster, and normalizing stats in the 3v3 arena.

The studio also acknowledged that the MMO’s been pretty stingy with gold coins, so it’s upped the amount: “Based on the current in-game settings, players can receive 100 gold coins via daily game activity, earn up to 6,000 gold coins from quests/achievements/exploration, and get 2,000 gold coins from the seven-day goal event.”

And while you wait for your immigration application, you can listen to the latest released music track from Composer Russell Brower:
