After a rescheduling and then a day-of false start, the PC multiplayer closed beta for the post-apocalypse survival shooter Once Human has begun at last, kicking off last night at around 10:00 p.m. EST.

This current test has opened its doors to 150,000 players, all of whom are invited to check out a plethora of updates including enhancements to its Deviation pet system, the peaceful and free-building Eternaland area, and the beginning of new PvE and PvP seasons. That’s all on top of the other additions in terms of monsters, weapons, and overall gameplay tweaks made since the last closed beta.

Meanwhile, NetEase’s Starry Studios is celebrating the start of this new test by handing out a free cosmetic outfit, a bundle of materlais, and a retweet contest for a PC and PC peripherals. The studio has also confirmed that mobile testing is scheduled to start on Thursday, April 11th, with more information promised soon.
