Co-op roguelike Inkbound pushes its exit from early access a day ahead of schedule

First it decided to eschew in-game monetization, now it’s moving its full release a day forward. We’re talking about Inkbound, the co-op turn-based roguelike that we’ve had an eye on since last September, which has announced that the 1.0 release will now happen early, arriving on April 9th instead of April 10th.

The 1.0 launch will include a new final boss, new quests, improved balance, new vestiges, new trinkets, controller support, full English voice over, and text translation into Chinese, Japanese, German, and French.

In the meantime, the game’s current early access build has engaged an XP boost for players to enjoy, as well as an updated countdown timer to reflect its new full launch schedule. It’s another unexpected announcement that clearly heralds the dissolution of the natural order; soon we’ll be seeing cats and dogs sleeping peacefully together in the same bed – oh no.
