May continues to be a month of celebration for Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis, as this week’s patch has continued the MMORPG’s third anniversary festival and kicked off additional limited-time quests for players to enjoy.
The main features for this week’s update include a quest to defeat throngs of enemies using unique actions on the shores of Retem, which will have its route changed in next week’s patch. This week also sees the anniversary event continue to offer up lockboxes and boosts to an assortment of quests, along with a collab event with a pair of games from the Atelier RPG series that let players get cardboard standees of characters for their house by logging in.
Next week will be similarly busy in the MMORPG, with additional limited-time quests, even more boost campaigns, and the return of Crimson Realm in Kvaris. What will not be included, however, is a specific urgent quest in Kvaris, which is being suspended on May 22nd.
