Being bathed in a turquoise moonglow sounds nice, doesn’t it? Unless you’re being joined by biting insects. Or you don’t like fireworks. Or you’re being assaulted by monsters. You know what? Let’s just enjoy the general vibes of the next update coming to Wuthering Waves and not think about the real-world implications of being In the Turquoise Moonglow, which is the patch’s full name.

This next update to the multiplayer RPG includes two new characters in the form of the ink art magician Zhezhi and the ass-kicking scientist Xiangli Yao along with their respective new weapons, a Moon-Chasing Festival event that will introduce a new simulation gameplay mode, new quests, and additional events that grant goodies for returning players, logging in, or taking part in a new defense mode.

On top of the playable content, the update brings several quality-of-life features such as the ability to customize enemy lock-on, the ability to store excess waveplate, a ranged hoverdroid companion, and more guidebook points available by completing a daily quest, among other things. The new patch will also let players earn Xiangli Yao for free by partaking in the Converging Paths quest.
