Chicks dig me.

Flying around in a giant mech blowing up other players in giant mechs? Who wants to do that? According to the Mecha Break stats released by developer Amazing Seasun Games, a lot of people. The game saw more than a million wishlists on Steam, 2.8 million worldwide registrations, and boasted more than 50,000 concurrent players on Steam alone (another 120,000 concurrent users on the Chinese launcher) during the height of its open beta, which ended yesterday.

The team also praised the feedback and bug testing that players provided during the beta test, promising that the game will release in 2025 having incorporated feedback to the game as a whole. It’s unclear how much longer players will have to wait beyond that year, of course, but it seems like there is no shortage of players eager to fly around in a giant robot blowing other people up. Good news for players who want lots of other players to potentially blow up, then.
