During this afternoon’s Opening Night Live at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, Amazon’s Prime Video label announced Secret Level, a “new adult-animated anthology series” specifically featuring video games. And naturally, among those video games is New World.
“Part of our vision from the beginning is to develop and publish fantastic IPs that immerse and excite players in different worlds, and find opportunities to extend those worlds beyond the games through transmedia opportunities where it makes sense,” Amazon Games VP Christoph Hartmann said in today’s announcement. “New World: Aeternum is a great example of an IP that has so much potential for adaptation, and we’re excited to see that explored in this episode of Secret Level.”
“We’re thrilled to share a brand-new story and introduce more people to the New World universe through Secret Level,” New World game director Scot Lane added.
Secret Level releases December 10th on Prime Video.
