Pearl Abyss really outdid itself with its Gamescom presentation on Crimson Desert: It promised one trailer, and the studio already gave it, but it actually had three more to deliver last night.
All four videos together are focused on boss fights; the first showed our new hero Kliff wrecking a White Horn yeti-monster. The new trio of videos home in on the Reed Devil boss, Staglord boss, and Queen Stoneback Crab boss. The first two are pretty standard fare battles with humanoids, but that crab? There’s some real land-Tamatoa action going on there as you hero scrambles up on top of the shell and tries not to get thrown off.
The demo Pearl Abyss brought to Gamescom is playable today and will indeed focus on these boss battles, so now you’ve had the whole experience.
