It hasn’t even been a month since Palia’s last update, but the beta cozy MMO is already teasing its next patch.
Daybreak-owned Singularity 6 (which still sounds wild to me) took to social media last night to tease the Sunset Soiree, which… OK, maybe the word “sunset” is only a problem for MMORPG players, but this is not that kind of sunset. This one looks like an actual party and not the other thing.
The devs are promising to raise limits on building blocks and flowers in plot builds (the video implies it’s to 1000), add a new lily rattan furniture set, provide chapaa huntable plushes, make inventory more properly searchable, and add potato pods.
What the heck is a potato pod? I had the same question, as did you since you clicked on our link, as did a crapton of other people in Discord. It’s apparently these adorable little plant pots:
“The potato pods are so ugly cute,” one Discord fan said. “Give me 14 of them.” Hear, hear.
The update is apparently slated for August 27th, so not long to wait.
