Dofus updates server transfers and opens pre-registration for its upcoming Unity engine upgrade

Last week’s announcement by Dofus of its move to the Unity engine on December 3rd is now transforming into a whole big event, complete with an updated website, references to Dofus 3.0, and a bunch of events and information for players.

Chief among this celebration of change is pre-registration for new servers that has now opened, which lets players pre-register for single and multi-accounts and offers up various goodies for hitting registration milestones. Speaking of servers, existing server transfers are getting updates on November 21st, with instant transfers and the ability to pay in real currency. Incidentally, transfers for the new servers will be limited to only those servers.

Developer Ankama is also kicking off some events to further mark its Unity update and its 20th anniversary: The Back to Rush event for Dofus 3.0 that’s scheduled for later will let players ally with one of four teams to earn points and unlock rewards, while the Year 20 Games PvE tournament that will be open to all starting November 9th on the Unity version’s beta server.
