One of the frequently requested Lord of the Rings Online features is the ability to own more than one kinship hall or standard player house per server. It turns out that this dream is shared by one of the game’s developers — even if it doesn’t sound like it’s going to happen any time soon.
“I want to allow kinships to own multiple kinship homes,” said Sr. World Designer Matt Elliot. “There are some technical challenges that we would need to surmount prior to that, however. And I have no ETA on when we’ll have the availability in schedules to support those issues. I also would love for players to be able to buy multiple original neighborhood homes.”
In other LOTRO news, the community was informed that seasonal cosmetics vendor Rowan Raspberry is scheduled to return with new items on January 15th, 2025, due to a prior delay of her appearance. However, the studio said that it’s going to try to get a “Rowan Raspberry Redux” going without any new items in the next week or so.
“I know we’re all excited for the end of the year stuff, and I’ve been hard at work on Black Friday and Winter things (which I saw y’all are excited for), but I’m also turning with an eye to next year,” said one of the devs. “One of the spots I want to work on next year is right here and it’s why the schedule is undergoing that particular shuffle.”
